Our Statements

Statement of Faith:

God so loved the world He gave His One and Only Son that whoever believes on Him should not perish but have eternal life (John 3:16);

Jesus came to give us real and eternal life; life like we never dreamed possible (John 10:10 MSG);

Jesus can empower us to love God with all our heart soul, mind and strength and;

We are to love our neighbor as we love ourselves (Matthew 22:36-40);

Jesus may return at any time so we need to not only fulfill the Great Commandment but also the Great Commission: "Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit; teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. Behold I am with you always; even to the end of the world." (Matthew 28:19-20).

Core Values:

F - aitfhfulness to the Word of God (Acts 2:42);

M - eeting the spiritual, relational, emotional, and physical needs of families (Acts 2:43-45);

Mission:

To grow radically committed followers of Jesus Christ!

Purpose:

Healing, Equipping, Building Up, Sending Out

Vision:

Our vision is to heal, equip, build up, and send out the Body of Christ in Los Lunas who have been hurt in churches and in life, so that they can minister to the hurting, confused, and distracted people groups of our village in way that brings them to wholeness in Christ.

Therefore, we will:
- emphasize a vibrant prayer and worship ministry;
- emphasize ministries that bring healing the Body of Christ;
- emphasize holistic ministry to whole family;
- emphasize helping believers discover their spiritual gifts and training them to serve in the Body according to those gifts;
- welcome all the gifts;
- emphasize allowing believers to start new works, small groups, and churches under the leadership of the Holy Spirit and confirmation of the Body of Christ.

Affiliation:

We are affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene but have people from all walks of life and backgrounds as a part of our fellowship. We strive to keep things simple the way Jesus did: Love God supremely and love our neighbor sacrificially. www.nazarene.org
